Recorded from section 306 Row M to the side of the stage, way up.

Notes from info file:

This would have been a decent recording except for the technical difficulties. A screw came loose on the right mic (the one that connects the alligator clip to the mic). It was shorting out to the casing causing the right channel to be a complete loss. Unfortunately some of the crackling spilled over onto the left channel too. Another problem for me was the loudness reading. I didn't know what was going on at first and the loudness was spiking into the red due to the crackling. I kept trying to adjust the sound levels at first so there is a lot of fluctuation. Eventually I just left it alone and let it record. I didn't really know what had happened until my husband and I got back to our hotel room and took the mic apart (I carry a leatherman with me everywhere LOL).

The bottom line is that this is a pretty bad recording. The only thing I have done to it is replicate the right channel in Adobe Audition and copy it to the left channel. I also inverted it to keep the phases correct. Other than that this is raw.

I do know that there is another recording out there. I know that it's bad form to post a private message but this one is not really very private and will pass along some info:

"Hi Kathleen, its JB fellow bruce fan. I too have a 10/17 of msg but it needs alot of work due to being stuck behind the stage with no PA and i was in the clapper row, maybe we can find someone to do a matrix of both recordings? I'm leaving tomorrow for the west coast shows so i wont be able to do anything wit the msg till i get back, let know wha u think and maybe EV the remaster guy could help us?"

So anyone who thinks they can do something with this is welcome to try. I would be happy if it could contribute to a matrix also. I tried some tricks to get rid of the crackling but with no luck. It really needs someone better than an amateur at remastering.
