Notes from info file:

This was a benefit show to raise money for the Count Basie Theater. For the very first time ever the complete "Darkness on the Edge of Town" and "Born To Run" album was performed live and in sequence. To end the night 4 classic encores were also included. I found this show most interesting as the songs were played without any of the usual stories or extended plays. Although Badlands gets off on the wrong foot and the band stopped seconds into the song, it gets better from there.

The original recording by Siebenh, as seeded on Dime, was a good recording to work with. Many thanks to Siebenh for making this available! With my Magix Graphic Equalizer I raised the sound to the next level. You will hear a difference with the music sounding even more upfront. I also shaved off some the audience noise during the intro, including most of that one annoying fan who kept calling out her friend's name. I also raised the intro dialogue, which sounded way down in the mix. Rusty Young and Patti's speeches can now be better heard. This was a task since the applause was twice as loud as the spoken words. You'll hear the difference there too.

So, before Godfather Records and Crystal Cat get a hold of this recording and tempt some unsuspecting fan into spending their hard-earned good money, I thought I would give this a shot and create some original Fanatic artwork to go with it.

Enjoy!
