Rehearsal footage shot in a private studio prior to the river tour. Exact date is unknown. Filmed with a single camera from front of stage. Most of the footage is a wide angle shot so there is a lack of detail but there are closeups during most songs. There are a couple of songs that are cut and a couple of songs that have multiple takes. The multiple takes feature the band working on arrangements and offers a glimpse of the band polishing material. Also of interest is The Ties that Bind which features Bruce playing the lead on a 12-string Rickenbacker.
Phoenix 7-8-1978 promotional footage is included as bonus material. This footage includes the version of Rosalita that was used for the video but includes the band introductions. Promised Land was also on the original promo reel but appears to be missing on this particular tape.
