Notes from BruceDVDs:

The Netherlands' only 'Devils & Dust' show fell on Father's Day and so it was no surprise that Bruce opened with 'Adam Raised a Cain' and later followed up with 'My Father's House'. A piano triple shot of 'For You', 'Two Faces' and 'The River' was complimented later by another trip to the keyboards for 'Countin' on a Miracle' leading into 'Racing in the Street'. A six number encore stretched the set out to a total of 26 songs.

This single disc DVD uses a video shot from the left side of the arena. The camera appears to be on a tripod, but there is still quite a bit of movement and occasional obstructions. Picture quality is generally good, with quite a bit of detail visible and pleasingly solid dark tones. The sound is also good for a camcorder source.

The big problem is that the camera is mounted at an angle until well into the main set and again at the end, giving the appearance that Bruce is standing on a slope. You might find yourself fearing that he could topple backwards at any time.

'Rotterdam Ahoy' is a reasonably good example of a DVD from the tour, as long as you are prepared to watch two thirds of it with your head tilted to one side.
