After being rescheduled, Berlin became the final stop on the European leg of the Devils and Dust tour. The setlist featured nine songs not played the night before in Hamburg, including tour premieres of 'Sinaloa Cowboys' and 'Hungry Heart' (which featured the obligatory German guest appearance by Wolfgang Niedecken). 'Adam Raised a Cain' was reprised from Stockholm as the opener and 'Spare Parts' was retained after its tour debut the previous evening.

The first DVD from the show to circulate was an incomplete collection of fragmented clips, so it is nice to finally get the complete performance. This footage (a completely different source than the first) is shot from a tripod on the left side of the arena. There are some lengthy periods of perfectly steady close-up views. Unfortunately, the shot gets extremely shaky whenever the filmer makes an adjustment and it can take quite a while to re-establish a stable angle.

The picture quality is generally very good, but a combination of full zoom and compression due to squeezing the whole show on a single disc leads to quite a bit of grain. The cam audio is reasonably clear, but sounds fairly hollow.

'The Final Show' is a mixed bag of some great rock-steady close-ups interleaved with near-unwatchable shaky spells. Copious use of the fast forward button to pick out the best bits makes this an enjoyable watch.
