Quality is decent but maybe a notch below the Recorder 2 source. Not a lot to add in regards to the show that hasn't already been said with the previous shares. Another excellent 1977 performance, short and tightly focused. The audience is fairly vocal between songs giving you a bit of a feel for the sound at the show with the taper at one point complaining he "wishes they'd fix the sound" and that it's "too hot" during 'Spirit In The Night'. Early on you also think he might have been caught taping as he explains to another audience member, "it's not for sale, I'm doing this for myself". The taper captured the complete performance but there were a number of cuts for tape flips, these have all been patched with the Recorder 2 source which matched the sound and feel better than the Recorder 1 'crew recording" source. Once again, thanks go out to a number of folks that helped put me in touch with Dan, their assistance and passion for Bruce and getting this music in your hands continues to be invaluable...IvannF, EarlMv, Oats1jvo. The biggest thanks go to Dan for making his archives available for us all to enjoy...please show your appreciation in the comments. mjk5510 Previous DS Archives Releases: Volume 01: Bruce Springsteen 1980-10-11 Chicago, IL (1st Gen) Volume 02: Bruce Springsteen 1975-09-21 Minneapolis, MN (2nd Gen) Volume 03: Bruce Springsteen 1975-08-01 Richmond, VA (Low Gen) Volume 04: Bruce Springsteen 1975-09-16 Dallas, TX (Low Gen) Volume 05: Bruce Springsteen 1975-09-16 Dallas, TX (Recorder 2 Un-circulated) Volume 06: Bruce Springsteen 1975-11-01 Santa Barbara, CA (2nd Gen) Volume 07: Bruce Springsteen 1975-10-04 Detroit, MI (1st Gen Aud Un-circulated) Volume 08: Bruce Springsteen 1975-12-05 Washington DC (Low Gen, presumed 2nd) Volume 09: Bruce Springsteen 1975-07-25 Kutztown, PA (Low Gen) Volume 10: Bruce Springsteen 1978-05-24 Albany, NY (Recorder 2 Un-circulated) Volume 11: Bruce Springsteen 1975-12-21 Toronto, ON (Low Gen) Volume 12: Bruce Springsteen 1976-09-29 Santa Monica (Low Gen) Volume 13: Bruce Springsteen 1976-09-30 Santa Monica (Low Gen) Volume 14: Bruce Springsteen 1976-10-25 Philadelphia (Recorder 2 Un-circulated)
