Two recording sources are known to exist for this stop, both sources have been a bit of a mess and until known we have not had a complete source circulate. Recorder 1 has circulated for some time under a couple of different titles. It appears to have originated as part of the JEA Treeservice and at some point was remastered by Fanatic Records. The Recorder 1 source is very good quality but suffers from a number of issues. There are a number of cuts, a portion of another show used to patch "Racing In The Street" and "Quarter To Three" is missing the last 4 minutes cutting off after the false ending. All versions also run a touch fast. The Recorder 2 source has circulated in a limited capacity and is a touch below Recorder 1 quality wise. I had three copies to work with, my tape copy, a friend's transfer from his tape copy and the DS Archives tapes, it also has a number of issues. Two of the three copies have a cut/gap in "Oh Boy" as well as missing "Prove It All Night" in its entirety. In addition, there are numerous cut songs. The DS tapes take care of a number of these issues, there is no cut/gap in "Oh Boy", "Prove It All Night" is included in its entirety and "Quarter To Three" is complete. We also put in a lot of work using Recorder 1 to present this show for the first time 100% complete. The show is excellent with a number of highlights, the debut of "Oh Boy" opens the show, the second "Sandy" of the tour and an always fun "Around and Around". As a bonus we used a couple of photos from the actual show for the artwork. Thanks to the usual suspects that put me in touch with Dan, their assistance and passion for Bruce and getting this music in your hands continues to be invaluable...IvannF, EarlMv, Oats1jvo and my compadre Butterking from JEMS for the use of the NAK DR-01. The biggest thanks go to Dan for making his archives available for us all to enjoy... mjk5510 Previous DS Archives Releases: Volume 01: Bruce Springsteen 1980-10-11 Chicago, IL (1st Gen) Volume 02: Bruce Springsteen 1975-09-21 Minneapolis, MN (2nd Gen) Volume 03: Bruce Springsteen 1975-08-01 Richmond, VA (Low Gen) Volume 04: Bruce Springsteen 1975-09-16 Dallas, TX (Low Gen) Volume 05: Bruce Springsteen 1975-09-16 Dallas, TX (Recorder 2 Un-circulated) Volume 06: Bruce Springsteen 1975-11-01 Santa Barbara, CA (2nd Gen) Volume 07: Bruce Springsteen 1975-10-04 Detroit, MI (1st Gen Aud Un-circulated) Volume 08: Bruce Springsteen 1975-12-05 Washington DC (Low Gen, presumed 2nd) Volume 09: Bruce Springsteen 1975-07-25 Kutztown, PA (Low Gen) Volume 10: Bruce Springsteen 1978-05-24 Albany, NY (Recorder 2 Un-circulated) Volume 11: Bruce Springsteen 1975-12-21 Toronto, ON (Low Gen) Volume 12: Bruce Springsteen 1976-09-29 Santa Monica, CA (Low Gen) Volume 13: Bruce Springsteen 1976-09-30 Santa Monica, CA (Low Gen) Volume 14: Bruce Springsteen 1976-10-25 Philadelphia (Recorder 2 Un-circulated) Volume 15: Bruce Springsteen 1977-03-13 Towson, MD (Recorder 3 Un-circulated) Volume 16: Bruce Springsteen 1978-05-27 Philadelphia (Recorder 2 Un-circulated) Volume 17: Bruce Springsteen 1978-06-03 Uniondale, NY (Recorder 4 Un-circulated) Volume 18: Bruce Springsteen 1978-05-23 Buffalo, NY (Low Gen Recorder 1) Volume 19: Bruce Springsteen 1978-06-08 Madison (Recorder 2 Un-circulated) Volume 20: Bruce Springsteen 1978-06-30 Berkeley (Low Gen) Volume 21: Bruce Springsteen 1978-09-17 New York City (Complete Audience)
