Welcome to Volume 43 of the DS Archives, this time out we travel to Rochester, NY towards the end of the first leg of 1980 "The River" tour.

This 2nd recording source comes from longtime collector Dan S. Quality is good though I would rate it a step below Recorder 1.

For the first time on the tour "Darkness On The Edge Of Town" is dropped and would remain out of the set list for the following two shows. It's not quite as long as most shows from this leg of the tour, possibly due to the impending snowstorm in the forecast but there is much to love about this set. It features both "Sandy" and "For You". As well as the emotional double shot of "Wreck On The Highway" and "Point Blank".
