This is not an alternate capture but the same recording source as the circulating version, but this one comes from my 1st generation tape and the difference in quality is striking. Each tape and in some cases tape side had to be individually pitch adjusted and a very slight tweak gives this one a very nice punch, all volume fluctuations have been repaired and the only fault is the first few notes of “Out In The Street” being cut. Having almost six months of touring under their belts and headed into the home stretch of the first leg of the tour, only 4 more shows before the Christmas break, the band is in top notch form and we are rewarded with a top notch show. Highlights include a rare, for this leg, playing of “The River” and a brief crowd pleasing “My Old Kentucky Home” during the “Detroit Medley”. mjk5510
