This Guitar is a Dog! 2 Sony CHF C90 cassettes from a UK Record Fair in the mid 1980s. Playback via Yamaha KX480 tape deck with Dolby Off and play trim at neutral. Recorded using Audacity, exported as flac files and tracks split using CD Wave. Files tested and checked for errors and SBEs using TLH. Fixed files following my edit for Cadillac Ranch plus Hungry Heart are included. According to Brucebase "Audience tape - incomplete. A new better sounding and more complete tape has recently surfaced although "Born In The U.S.A.", "Dancing In The Dark", and "Sherry Darling" are all cut." The newer better sounding tape is the Ev2 version which was made available at Jungleland. This tape conversion is from what appears to be an alternative source and is effectively complete except for Cadillac Ranch which fades in over half way through. Fidelity is reasonable but marred by some distortion during the first set which is particularly noticeable on My Hometown. The recording level on my tapes was ok so the distortion has come from elsewhere in the transcription chain possibly even at source. There are also a couple of abrupt tape ends at the end of Darlington County and Dancing in the Dark. Based on the Ev2 version nothing much missed for the end of Darlington County. I dont have the earlier incomplete version that preceded the Ev2 version so dont know if this is it but the Brucebase description hints at it being incomplete. As that version is not currently available at Jungleland and this version does help combined with Ev2 to provide a nearly complete record of the show I thought I would upload for the benefit of completists. This version is quite listenable but the Ev2 version is superior.
