The overall sound may be a tad closer and warmer than "Heart Attack on the First Night" and "The First Date," although this one may not be quite as sharp. Still, I feel this one was worth the effort and hopefully the listener will find it worth the listen. Show Notes: After six weeks of rehearsals, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, along with the Horns of Love (formerly the Miami Horns), began the 1988 Tunnel of Love Express Tour on Feburary 25, 1988, in Worcester, MA. Bruce developed a concept show about relationships, which meant that the set list changed very little over the next several months. This show was chosen [as a Top 50 show] because everything was fresh and new, and because of the amazing keyboard intro to "Walk Like a Man," which was not played after the tour left Worcester. This show featured the debut of eight songs from Tunnel of Love, four additional previously unplayed songs, and "Be True," which was played only once before, as well as an acoustic "Born to Run." -theboots.net
