So the story goes, Tape Man Joe attended many concerts. Joe used a Sony D6 with a Nakamichi microphone and TDK metal tapes. Joe made a few copies and gave them to friends but never actively traded his recordings. Recently Joe lent a few of his masters to his friend, Jungleland user G (a generous collector himself who has lent tapes from his collection to help upgrade many shows). G asked me to finish off the transfers and post them. As Bruce and the other band hunkered down for 11 nights in 1992 at the Brendan Byrne Arena, Bruce started to reintroduce a couple of songs each night during the stand. During the fourth show found here, we get the return of one of Bruce's finest covers Trapped, which had not been played since the final night of the BITUSA tour. Also finding its tour debut is Darlington County. Bruce starts it off with just himself on the guitar and the backup singers providing harmonies. The only current circulating version has been described as very poor and for completists only. I don't think that it's quite that bad. It suffers from generational loss, cuts and some very vocal audience members. Joe's master suffers none of those issues. It's a very nice recording with some wonderful low end response, and no cuts at all. Thanks to Tape Man Joe for recording and sharing his tapes and G for transferring the files. 01.BETTER DAYS 02.LOCAL HERO 03.LUCKY TOWN 04.DARKNESS ON THE EDGE OF TOWN 05.DANCING IN THE DARK 06.IF I SHOULD FALL BEHIND 07.57 CHANNELS (AND NOTHIN' ON) 08.TRAPPED 09.BADLANDS 10.THE BIG MUDDY 11.LIVING PROOF 12.MY HOMETOWN 13.LEAP OF FAITH 14.MAN'S JOB 15.ROLL OF THE DICE 16.PROVE IT ALL NIGHT 17.COVER ME 18.BRILLIANT DISGUISE (with Patti Scialfa) 19.I WISH I WERE BLIND 20.SOULS OF THE DEPARTED 21.BORN IN THE U.S.A. 22.LIGHT OF DAY 23.HUMAN TOUCH (with Patti Scialfa) 24.GLORY DAYS 25.DARLINGTON COUNTY 26.BOBBY JEAN 27.HUNGRY HEART 28.THUNDER ROAD 29.BORN TO RUN 30.MY BEAUTIFUL REWARD Known faults: None From Brucbase WikiDot: Show features two tour premieres: "Trapped" is played in the first set and "Darlington County" is added in the second.
