There is nothing shocking here, setlist-wise, but there are a number of songs in the set that were somewhat underplayed on the tour -- for example, "Brilliant Disguise," "Who'll Stop The Rain," "Across The Border," and "Cadillac Ranch." Altogether, a strong and unpredictable setlist. Roy Bittan strapped on an accordion a half-hour into the set to play "Beer Barrel Polka" at an audience member's request. A rousing version of "Cadillac Ranch" was played as a final encore, as it is in most shows Bruce does in Wisconsin. I was standing in the GA section about 30 feet from the stage on the right-hand (from the audience perspective) side. There were very few people around me, oddly enough, and there is very little crowd noise as a result. The mix changed improved a half-hour into the show; tracks 1-6 do not sound quite as good as the rest of the show does. Overall, it's a vastly better recording than you would expect from Sonics in a baseball stadium, but my location was perfect. I was very happy with the quality of this recording, and this turned out to be a great performance. This isn't one to download if you are limiting yourself to picking up, say, 2-3 shows from the tour, but definitely worth having if you typically grab most good "Rising" setlists/recordings you come across. I think E Street hit their peak at the end of the tour. Enjoy the show!
