Restless Nights (SCK) --- By Winter 2009, I was pretty damn broke, and had no plans of catching any shows past my shows in April. I saw the setlists rolling in and heard show reports of all my other tapers buddies having a blast. Interesting, but it just couldn't get real for me because it was happening far away. My inner Bruce fan had gone back into hibernation. Then I get an email from Tallman. He said he and some of his buddies were talking about getting me out there for last show of the tour. All the sudden, things started getting real again. Fast forward a month, and I'm flying to Buffalo with a suitcase of gear. Took a nice arsenal of gear into the show. So much that I recorded several feeds that never really made it into the final mix. The final mix is a bit heavy on keys/organ, and less guitars than I usually like. Alas--can only do so much work with what you have. It's a different mixing approach to the other wireless mix out there. If you dig that one...stick with it. If you like mine...stick with that. Variety is the spice of life. Also included is a fun snippet from soundcheck of the band trying to figure out Restless Nights on the spot. -- Please don't sell this recording in any way - no cash for blanks, 2:1s, or any other form of "getting paid for your time". Just share it freely. If you're going to destroy the sound of some ultra-spiffy high-end rigs by encoding and spreading them via poorly encoded mp3's, please keep them on your own computer and not dilute the tradepool. This means you! Please do not attempt to remaster this recording and spread it around. There is little to no point of trying to compete with the original processing. It just creates problems with conflicting effects and processing errors. If you need to re-eq it for your own listening pleasure, that's fine, just don't spread it around. Also, please don't torrent on other sites without at least dropping me a line and asking. I may want to just torrent it there myself. -- Enjoy folks!
