betterDayBerlin:

"Now this is my third Bruce Springsteen DVD project. And it is special in many ways….
At first I thought it would be impossible to create a DVD of the entire Hamburg show, 
because there was not a single (nearly) complete video recording in circulation. 

But I had this vision….and the folks at Stonepony.de encouraged me to give it a try. The only chance I had, 
was to contact other fans via various Bruce fan boards and ask for their recordings. From the beginning on I 
received a tremendous support, esp. from the tramps at Stonepony.de.

Over the last five months I collected video clips and photos from nearly 50 fans, who shared their recordings with me.
Finally I was able to assemble (nearly) the complete show from more than 250 single video clips – what a big puzzle !  
Luckily I had a strong fundament – an incredible audio-matrix created by “badabing”, mixing his own great recording
with Crystal Cat’s “Hamburg Magic Night”.

Although the result is far better than expected, I have to confess, that I did not quite reach my goal, to find
material covering every minute of the show. At some points I had to insert photos to fill gaps or (at very few times) 
I used short youtube-clips filmed at other shows.
Of course this is not a perfect DVD boot - but it demonstrates, that it is possible to “build” such a DVD,
when a lot of people work hand in hand together.
