This was recorded live on 29 and 30 Oct 2009 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, NY, during the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame 25th anniversary concerts. The first night was headlined by Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band who closed the show with a 17-song set. Bruce Springsteen and Roy Bittan appeared on two songs the following night during U2's set. The concerts originally aired in on HBO on 28 Nov 2009 in a four-hour edited form consisting of 49 performances. The HBO broadcast was released in the U.S. only on The 25th Anniversary Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Concerts, both the home video (released on 28 Sep 2010) and the audio album (released on 02 Nov 2010). The home video consists of the complete HBO broadcast plus 14 additional performances (54 in all).

Running time: approximately 330 minutes.

Comes in a 5.5x7.4-inch 3-panel digipak housed in a cardboard slipcase. Includes a 36-page booklet. Also included with this release are an insert promoting the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame And Museum and a post card for free 12-issue Rolling Stone magazine subscription.
