Live History

WIPE OUT is known to have been performed at least once in Bruce Springsteen's early years (pre-October 1972), in the autumn of 1965 in Monmouth County, NJ, with The Castiles. No audio recording of this show is known to exist. Very little is known about shows from this early period, and therefore, the song may have been played on some more dates.

  1. Autumn 1965 at Reception Hall, Monmouth County, NJ (with The Castiles)

WIPE OUT was performed off-tour on 29 Oct 1990 at Tom Petty's House in San Fernando Valley, CA, during a gig with many of the guests at the party, including various Heartbreakers, Roger McGuinn, and Jeff Lynne.
