BATMAN THEME is a song composed by Neal Hefti for the 1966 Batman TV series. The song was first released as a single in 1966 with BATMAN CHASE on the B-side (RCA Victor, catalogue number 47-8755). The song was also released that same year on Hefti's Batman Theme And 11 Hefti Bat Songs album (RCA Victor, catalogue number LPM-3573).

Springsteen's Version

Although he has never performed it in full, Bruce Springsteen played an instrumental snippet of BATMAN THEME in the midsection of ROSALITA (COME OUT TONIGHT) on 22 Sep 1979 in New York City, NY, during the MUSE Concerts For A Non-Nuclear Future.
