QUE SERA, SERA (WHATEVER WILL BE, WILL BE)©

Live 18 Sep 1982 version

When I was just a little boy
I asked my mother, what will I be
Will I be handsome, will I be rich
Here's what she said to me

Here's what she said to me

Intro

Music by Jay Livingston and lyrics by Ray Evans, QUE SERA, SERA (WHATEVER WILL BE, WILL BE) is originally by Doris Day who released it in 1956. Check out Doris Day's original version for more details.

Bruce Springsteen's Live Performance

On 18 Sep 1982, Bruce Springsteen joined Dave Edmunds and his band onstage at Big Man's West, Red Bank, NJ, for a 6-songs set. A short snippet of QUE SERA, SERA was played as intro to BAMA LAMA BAMA LOO, sung by Dave Edmunds with guitar accompaniment. Bruce Springsteen probably did not play on this song, but he was definitely onstage. This is the only known Springsteen performance of the song.
