Bruce Springsteen performed YOU SEXY THING during the last two of the five 2001 Asbury Park holiday shows. The song featured Bruce Hornsby on vocals and accordion and The Alliance Singers on backup vocals.

During last leg of The Rising Tour, while introducing the band members in the middle of MARY'S PLACE, Springsteen sang a snippet of YOU SEXY THING when the Patti Scialfa's turned came: "we've got the First Lady of love, on guitar and vocals and my sweetie baby honey child, Miss Patti Scialfa... I believe in miracles, where you from, you sexy thing..."

During the 16 Sep 2009 Working On A Dream Tour show in Greenville, while the band was playing RAISE YOUR HAND, Bruce picked a sign that said "You Sexy Thing". He then sang lines from YOU SEXY THING and the crowd sang back before eventually segueing into RAISE YOUR HAND but bringing YOU SEXY THING again back at the end. The inclusion of the lines from YOU SEXY THING into RAISE YOUR HAND was repeated on 30 Sep 2009 in East Rutherford and 19 Oct 2009 in Philadelphia.
