This, the third night of the so-called “Lawsuit Tour”, found Bruce and the band blocked from recording with Landau due to pending litigation. As with the previous night, it features the Miami Horns Quartet #2 (actually a Philadelphia based foursome) on a smattering of songs, in addition we get one setlist addition with the inclusion of 'Growin' Up'. The low gen tapes in Dan’s archives came from the same trader as the previous night. The audience for night two is a bit more rowdy than night one with numerous song requests and general noisiness. As with night one, the taper did an excellent job capturing the full show with only a very small splice during Mona that is fairly seamless. I would consider this a slight upgrade to the version I torrented from my own archives a year or so ago, I think the biggest difference you will notice is in the slower songs and quieter sections, with those songs being more defined and a touch richer. Once again, thanks go out to a number of folks that helped put me in touch with Dan, their assistance and passion for Bruce and getting this music in your hands continues to be invaluable...IvannF, EarlMv, Oats1jvo as well as E from JEMS for the use of the NAK DR-1. The biggest thanks go to Dan for making his archives available for us all to enjoy...feel free to show your appreciation in the comments. mjk5510 Previous DS Archives Releases: Volume 1: Bruce Springsteen 1980-10-11 Chicago, IL (1st Gen) Volume 2: Bruce Springsteen 1975-09-21 Minneapolis, MN (2nd Gen) Volume 3: Bruce Springsteen 1975-08-01 Richmond, VA (Low Gen) Volume 4: Bruce Springsteen 1975-09-16 Dallas, TX (Low Gen) Volume 5: Bruce Springsteen 1975-09-16 Dallas, TX (Recorder 2 Un-circulated) Volume 6: Bruce Springsteen 1975-11-01 Santa Barbara, CA (2nd Gen) Volume 7: Bruce Springsteen 1975-10-04 Detroit, MI (1st Gen Aud Un-circulated) Volume 8: Bruce Springsteen 1975-12-05 Washington DC (Low Gen, presumed 2nd) Volume 9: Bruce Springsteen 1975-07-25 Kutztown, PA (Low Gen) Volume 10: Bruce Springsteen 1978-05-24 Albany, NY (Un-circulated Recorder 2) Volume 11: Bruce Springsteen 1975-12-21 Toronto, ON (Low Gen) Volume 12: Bruce Springsteen 1976-09-29 Santa Monica (Low Gen)
