(15:41.914) 06 Sherry Darling (5:20.036) Notes: Very good audio, a typical sound of the era with the audience on fire that transports you right into the fray, this was also a masterful recording despite all the unexpected adversities that can happen during a show. After my wonderful trip to Wembley for the 3 shows there, my dear friend Dean called to let me know he had a ticket for me to the show in Cleveland. It was at the old 1930s Municipal stadium, home to both the Indians and the Browns, a cavernous place now long gone. We were on the field, around 2d base as I recall, with the stage in deep center field. The crowd was boisterous, but fun-loving. When it came to Twist & Shout their singing was no match for the wonderful Wembley crowd though. The show was a fairly standard setlist, but marked the introduction of This Land is Your Land to open the encores, which would continue for most of the remaining stadium shows in the US. Thanks to Ivan for the transfer, and for convincing me to get this master out of storage. As always, thinks to hrubesh for his dedication to take an imperfect capture and make it sound as good as possible, and for his original artwork created with equal skill.
