He could not remember what deck and mic he used for the capture, possibly an Aiwa deck, the raw tape, based on his taping location and deck, was biased towards the high end. After adjusting it to the proper pitch, a bit of nudging the low end and focusing the mid-range we have a fine capture that could be considered an upgrade. Comparing the Recorder 1 source which has a touch of distance to it and lacking some punch, this source has more presence and punch to it. There is the occasional audience chatter being on the floor, I've removed as much as possible along with some mic bumps. Fortunately, for the most part the music overpowers most audience noise making it mostly insignificant. There were also a few patches needed and 2 songs substituted from Recorder 1 (dgpirl could not recall what caused him to miss two songs). Some of the early Tunnel tour shows could be inconsistant. This show is not one of those inconsistant affairs, it's laser focused throughout with the band in top form. Thanks to "DGPIRL" for taping and lending out his master tapes as well as to "Horst hrubesh" for putting us in touch. Samples and artwork provided...additionally dgpirl has supplied us with his ticket stub and numerous newspaper articles reviewing either the show on the 28th or 29th. mjk5510 and DGPIRL
