Picture disc in a standard jewel case, with same catalogue number as the 1999 cardboard packaging reissue. This is part of a series that consists of Bruce Springsteen's first five albums. The spines of the obi strips from this series, when arranged vertically in order or release, form part of a black-and-white image from around 1979 depicting three E Street Band members (Max Weinberg, Danny Federici and Steve Van Zandt) sitting on a bench in Central Park.
