The above lyrics are an outtake version of ADAM RAISED A CAIN recorded in August 1977 at Atlantic Studios in New York City, NY. This version featured some different lyrics from the album version, most notably the lines "And later as I grew older, he'd tell me how on that day I cried", "She knows you didn't come back to join their little games", and "Now he haunts these empty rooms rattling these chains".
