The above lyrics are for the live December 2020 performance of CHINATOWN at Electric Lady Studios in New York City, NY, during a guest appearance with Bleachers.
This was a promotional mini concert, with no audience, held on the roof of Electric Lady Studios in Greenwich Village. Bleachers performed some songs, including CHINATOWN and 45 which were released as a double single on 16 Nov 2020. Bruce Springsteen sang backing vocals on CHINATOWN, just like he did on the album version, and also played acoustic guitar. The exact date of this performance is unknown, but it took place on or before 05 Dec 2020.
Video for both songs, directed by Nicholas Robespierre, were released on Bleachers' YouTube channel on 07 Dec 2020.
The live December 2020 version of CHINATOWN was released on Bleachers' Live At Electric Lady album in 2021.
