BLOWIN' DOWN THIS ROAD

Live 24 Jun 1993 version

[Spoken intro:] Yeah. Once again I wanna remind you that we're here tonight for the Community FoodBank Of New Jersey, the Food and Hunger Hotline, the World Hunger Year. We started the show with a Woody Guthrie song, wanted this one right here. And uh, once again I remind you that uh... they can use your help, they need some volunteers who work during the week. If you have any spare time, they can use.... they can always use some cash. If you get a chance look into them and see what you can do. Come on, Joe.

Joe Ely:I'm blowing down this old dusty road
Yeah, I'm blowing down this old dusty road
I'm blowing down this old dusty road, Lord
And I ain't gonna be treated this a-way

Joe Ely:I'm going where the water taste like wine
Bruce Springsteen:Yeah, I'm going where the water tastes like wine
Ely and Scialfa:I'm going where the water tastes like wine, Lord
And I ain't gonna be treated this way
Patti Scialfa:Lord
