As far as I know, there are at least 10 versions of the UK vinyl pressing of Greetings From Asbury Park, N.J.

Notes:

- I tried to list the versions in a correct chronological order.

- Please have a look at your copies and tell me if you have one that's any different from the ones I listed.

- It is possible that copies exist with the label of one version on one side and the label of another version on the other side, as is the case with Tunnel Of Love and The Wild, The Innocent, & The E Street Shuffle for example.

Promo issues:

There's what seems to be an advance promo copy of version 1 on Discogs. The record came in special CBS promotional cover with three different promo photos and a 3-page biography from Columbia Records.

In 1973 and 1974, CBS UK used "The Inner Sleeve" magazine-style inner sleeves. There are manay issues of "The Inner Sleeve", I will only list the ones known to have been included with Greetings From Asbury Park, N.J..

UK Springsteen discography inserts:

Discography inserts that were included with Bruce Springsteen albums in the UK either listed his first 4 albums or his first 7 albums. And there are two variants of the former, with or without a "YOU'VE GOT TO BE BOSS TO BE THE 'BOSS'" header.

Typos:

You missed the "Version 10" from my e-Mail. That version specifically has "CBS S 65480" on the front sleeve, top left and a "THE NICE PRICE" sticker.

This copy has the wrong sleeve. It’s a Dutch sleeve.
Unless we can establish that this sleeve was used in the UK (imported from Holland), we cannot consider this as another version. Just a copy with the wrong sleeve.
