Live 12 Dec 2012 version
One! Two! Three! Four!
Grab your ticket and your suitcase, thunder's rolling down this track
Well, you don't know where you're going now, but you know you won't be back
Well, darling, if you're weary, lay your head upon my chest
We'll take what we can carry, and we'll leave the rest
Well, big wheels roll through fields where sunlight streams
Meet me in a land of hope and dreams
Well, I will provide for you, I'll stand by your side
You'll need a good companion now for this part of the ride
Well, leave behind your sorrows, let this day be the last
Well, tomorrow there'll be sunshine and all this darkness past
Big wheels roll through fields where sunlight streams
Meet me in a land of hope and dreams
Well, this train carries saints and sinners
This train carries losers and winners
This train carries whores and gamblers
This train carries lost souls
I said, this train carries broken-hearted
This train, thieves and sweet souls departed
This train carries fools and kings thrown
This train, all aboard
I said, now this train, dreams will not be thwarted
This train, faith will be rewarded
This train, the steel wheels singing
This train, bells of freedom ringing
There's a train a-coming
You don't need no ticket
You just get onboard
Now!
Let me see your hands!
Come on this train
Come on this train
People get ready, there's a train a-coming
You don't need no ticket
You just get onboard

The "12-12-12: The Concert for Sandy Relief" benefit took place on 12 Dec 2012 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, NY. The concert was held in response to Hurricane Sandy, which devastated portions of Northeastern United States, the Caribbean and the Mid-Atlantic in late October 2012. Many famous performers took part in the charity event, including Bruce Springsteen, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Eric Clapton, Roger Waters, Alicia Keys, Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, Michael Stipe, Eddie Vedder, Paul McCartney, and others.
The concert was broadcast live worldwide via television, radio, the Internet, and selected movie theaters. Proceeds from the event were collected by the Robin Hood Relief Fund to benefit victims of the hurricane in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. More than $30 million was raised through ticket sales alone.
The event began at 7:30 pm and ran until 1:20 am. It started with a video montage of news coverage of the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band were the first on stage, performing a four song set. Springsteen later joined Bon Jovi on one song during their set.
Bruce Springsteen talked about the destruction Hurricane Sandy caused to the Jersey Shore and the need to raise money for the relief effort. "The size of the destruction was shocking. And it took days and days to even understand the level of destruction that occurred along the Jersey Shore. It's gonna be a long term process, you know, to helping people get back on their feet."
LAND OF HOPE AND DREAMS and WRECKING BALL were officially released in January 2013 on 12-12-12: The Concert For Sandy Relief, a 2-CD compiling 24 songs from the concert. A DVD version with the same title and containing the same tracks was released later in 2013.
All 24 tracks on a single disc
