I've no further information to add except that I've also the 2007 Columbia / Sony / BMG release: https://www.discogs.com/Bruce-Springste ... se/1282326
But I'm not sure if this one counts for your list because it's made in the EU.

I will be seeking a sealed copy, but do you know if they were originally with a sticker on the shrink?
Aside, do you know anything about this issue? ...like when it was released.
Re: Holland LP variants: Born In The U.S.A.
Mine is not sealed so I don't know if there was a sticker. As far as I know it was released in 2007.

I will not include it in this list since it's not "made in Holland", but thank you for the tip.
Re: Holland LP variants: Born In The U.S.A.
I don’t know if anyone could tell me something about this record.
I’ve heard from it not long ago. This record curiously has written “Made in Spain” around the outer edge of the label and the matrix number is Spanish too, but the cover and labels are Dutch.
Nothing in the sleeve says that it was made in Spain or distributed for the Spanish market. In fact it is one of the covers use in Holland for its records.
The type of label is also used by Holland for the edition of its records. Spain has never used this type of label. Spanish label of that time has always written “SGAE” on it. (Sociedad General de Autores y Editores)- General Society of Authors and Publishers- .
In addition Spain edited several different variants of this album with its own type of label: white, sunburnt and red.
Were the cover and label made in Holland and then send to Spain for pressing? . Was that usually done?
Is this album Spanish or Dutch?.
Can it be added on this list as a Dutch record or not?

Re: Holland LP variants: Born In The U.S.A.
I have such copy and I always thought that it was made in Holland for export to Spain. Born In The U.S.A. was a huge seller and maybe the pressing plant in Spain couldn't meet the demands.cgfesp wrote:I don’t know if anyone could tell me something about this record.

Anyway, I consider it a Spanish release since it has "Made in Spain" on the labels. See this post: http://www.springsteenlyrics.com/forum/ ... p?f=7&t=57
Re: Holland LP variants: Born In The U.S.A.
I dissagree Eddy. CBS record plant in Spain was at one time one of largest CBS plants in Europe. CBS Spain manufactured a lot of different Bob Dylan records for export to Holland (and even to Portugal). I think that's really more correct to consider this record as a Holland issue with the record manufactured in Spain.
Note that even the record is manufactured in Spain, the copyright collect company is the holland company, not the Spanish (SGAE).
This variant is more easy to find in Germany, France or Holland than in Spain.

Re: Holland LP variants: Born In The U.S.A.
Thank you for the information. That's interesting. I bought all my three Spanish pressings, including this one, from a record store in Barcelona back in 2008. I had no idea that it was exported to Europe!Domingo wrote:I dissagree Eddy. CBS record plant in Spain was at one time one of largest CBS plants in Europe. I updated the related thread accordingly.
Re: Holland LP variants: Born In The U.S.A.
Is It possible to include in this list the German club edition?
I think that It was edited for German market but I'm not sure. The record and cover are Ducht, but It has another club edition number (CBSCL 42 670 0).
